Laura Klein, PhD, LMT

For Laura, movement has always felt natural and necessary; something the body knows intuitively. This knowing began with dance in her youth, then deepened into a yoga practice which offered mental, emotional, and spiritual sustenance during her graduate studies in plant science. Eventually Laura completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training, and now she specializes in gentle flow classes that allow students to explore the breath and movement connection while heightening the relationship with their bodies. While teaching alongside her work at a botanical identification startup, she recognized that her truest gifts lay in working directly with people — bringing together the rigor and curiosity of a scientific mind with the intuitive presence cultivated through years of movement practice. She spent three years apprenticing with master massage therapist Kona Santana in Santa Rosa, CA, before completing her massage therapy training at St. Louis Med-Tech and becoming licensed in 2026.
Laura is passionate about meeting each client in their uniqueness, guiding them into deeper connection with the wisdom their own body holds. She offers support to the body’s healing process through relaxation, release, and presence in each session. Her massage modalities include: Swedish/relaxation massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, and lymphatic drainage.
