Katherine Hickman, LMT

Katherine believes some of the deepest healing begins when the body finally feels safe enough to slow down. In a world that keeps most of us in a constant state of “go,” her work centers on helping clients move out of survival mode and back into balance, using a slow, focused, therapeutic touch to invite the nervous system into a calmer state where tension can truly release.

Katherine has been a licensed massage therapist since 2021, when she graduated from an 800-hour program at Elements of Wellness School of Massage, and she holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Missouri Baptist University. Over the years, she noticed a pattern in the clients on her table: pain and tightness that kept returning, rooted not just in muscle but in stress the body had never been given permission to let go of. That recognition—one she has explored in her own life as well—shapes every session she offers. Her work integrates Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping therapy, and stretching, always paced to meet each client where they are and guide the body toward genuine rest.

Katherine’s faith in God is the foundation of her life and her work. She believes rest isn’t a luxury but something we were designed for, and she sees each session as a chance to help people lay down what their bodies have been carrying, caring for the whole person the way we’re meant to be cared for. Clients can expect an individualized session, an unhurried presence, and a space where slowing down is the point.
