Dr. Emily has had a passion for dance, cheer and tumbling since she was a young girl. She grew up training in all aspects and was a cheerleader for eight years through high school and college. Her passion for the sport eventually transitioned and she began coaching, training and teaching. This inspired her to strengthen her education and she received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from McKendree University and has worked with athletes of various ages and sports.
Dr. Emily is a graduate of Logan University College of Chiropractic and currently holds licenses both in Missouri and Illinois. She received clinical experience at the Scott Air Force Base where she worked with men and women on active duty for the United States Air Force. Combining her knowledge of both athletic training and chiropractic education, she understands the benefits that chiropractic care can provide to help improve performance and prevent injury.
Dr. Emily has training in SOT, cranial suture work and pediatrics. She is certified in Webster technique for pregnancy and is continuing her training in pediatrics and pregnancy through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Her training through the ICPA has given her the knowledge on how chiropractic care can improve the mother’s pregnancy experience as well as the life and development of a child. While Dr. Emily has an emphasis on athletes, pediatrics and pregnancy she has experience treating patients of all ages and her goal is to improve the overall function and wellness of her patients.
