We welcomed Alli Missler to our Thrive family in January 2017. Alli comes from the “Buckeye State” and is also the niece of Dr Matt. Alli brings with her management and customer service experience. Although new to Thrive for Life, Alli’s life story connects her in a personal way to chiropractic care and a holistic approach to the support and treatment of chronic headaches. When Alli was in middle school she suffered from headaches multiple times a day, dizzy spells, and an inability to extend her neck. Throughout all of this she continued to play softball, basketball, and live a “normal” teenage life. It wasn’t until high school when the headaches became unbearable and Alli was no longer able to tell the difference between hot and cold that she went to be evaluated and was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia; a structural defect at the base of the skull. In February 2012 Alli underwent major corrective surgery but continued to have headaches and was left with the inability to sense touch or temperature. When she started receiving chiropractic care on a regular basis her headaches all but went away. In her free time, she loves fishing, basketball, rollerblading, and spending time with family. The two things Alli values most in life are family and faith.
Currently, Alli is embarking on another segment in her life’s journey. She and Brett are blessed with welcoming their first child in October. We are looking forward to the welcoming the new addition to our Thrive family.
